Simon Says Simon's FAQ 1: Where is Beyond the Camera held?
It's based in the only professional television studio in a new Zealand school, and that school is St Andrew's College in Christchurch, New Zealand. It runs every day of the week teaching performing arts and television to students from Year 9 to 13. For BTC we run two studios, one with four cameras, one with three. Each has a control room next door. We run a film department with 15 field cameras, 14 edit suites with Adobe Elements and Premiere Pro, we have a management office, a morning tea room, we seat everyone for lunch in the college dining room, and we have up to 70 beds available for students from out of Christchurch.
